............recently they have been named ‘Education Caterer of the Year’ at  Foodservice Cateys. The company was especially commended for its commitment to training, local sourcing and the development of innovative and fresh food menus across its schools and colleges.
Over the last year, the company has invested heavily in training and development of its teams, through the Chef Academy, Apprentice and Graduate schemes, and an Advanced Management Programme.
The winners of the awards are selected by a panel of judges made up of experts from across the foodservice and hospitality industries. Ronan Harte, Managing Director, Holroyd Howe, says: “It is a real honour to pick up this award. We are very proud of how hard our teams have worked over the course of the last year, and this award is testament to that.
“As a business, our focus has always been to deliver creative, delicious food that engages and inspires pupils, whilst also safeguarding their health and wellbeing. We are delighted that this award recognises that.”
This was the second win of the week for Holroyd Howe, after one of their Head Chefs, Matt Potts, scooped up the Independent Caterer of the Year award at the the Educatering Excellence Awards dinner
